Frequently Asked Questions

When should I book my wedding day hair?

As soon as possible please. I take bookings up to a year in advance. I already have some dates in 2016 booked up.

What do I need for the hair trial?

If you have any pictures from magazines or the internet bring them with you. The more ideas you have the easier it will be to give you the style you're after.

How many styles can I try during the trial?

Normally a trial session will take between 2 and 3 hours and sometimes up to 4 hours. I will try as many different styles as needed for you within the alloted time.

Can I come to you for my hair trial?

Yes, of course. I am also happy to travel to you because I like to know where I am going on the wedding day. This often helps me by saving time and the possibility of getting lost trying to find you on the day! However, if you don't have a place where you can have your trial hair done, I can easily arrange for you to come to me. If I do come to you for the trial then my travel costs are chargable.

What do you charge for bridesmaids and Mother of the Bride?

The cost will depend on the style chosen and the work involved. I usually advise the actual price on the day of the trial.

How many people can have their hair done?

Depending on the time of the wedding, my personal maximum is 6 people. However, there is no real limit, because for large assignments I engage help from known experienced hair stylists to assist me.

Is the cost of products included in the price?

The price agreed includes the cost of all hair styling products such as hairspray, mousse, hair grips, pins and so on. It does not include the cost of hair pieces to create volume; you will need to bring your own. Hair decorations like flowers, tiaras and fascinator's are not included, but I will be happy to fit them for you.

What happens on the wedding day?

Preferably everyone will wear a zip or button top. If you are having a blow-dry style the hair will need to be washed and left damp ready for styling. All hair-up styles need to be dry and clean. Wash your hair the day before or early on the morning of the wedding. I provide all hair styling products and I bring my own equipment. I will need easy access to a power point and a table for my mirror.
